CHALLENGE

Celonis pioneered a new category of big data analytics technology known as Process Mining and having already established itself as a leader in its founding country, Germany, the firm was going through a period of hyper-growth. It needed comms support to drive its rapid global expansion and boost its brand awareness in new target markets, the US and the UK.

APPROACH

Working alongside Brands2Life Global partner agency, Maisberger in Germany, Brands2Life’s UK and US teams deliver a joint PR and social media programme for Celonis, spanning proactive media relations, thought leadership, campaign execution and management of social channels. Since our initial engagement, Celonis has reached unicorn status, an announcement which was supported by Brands2Life and Maisberger and covered by a host of international, national, business and tech titles around the world.

IMPACT

Establishing strong relationships with media influencers for Celonis in each market has helped us secure over 200 pieces of coverage in national, business and tech press over the past year, including BBC News, Financial Times, Handelsblatt, Forbes, TechCrunch, Quartz and ComputerWoche. Social engagements and impressions have also increased by 124% and 108% respectively since we started delivering a dedicated social media programme alongside our PR brief. Media advocacy has also led to additional recognition, with Celonis being approached for high profile speaking opportunities such as CEBIT and Viva Technology and nominated for the FT’s ArcelorMittal Boldness in Business Awards 2019.
